Sanrio’s character unit Hapidanbui has teamed up with Furukawa Paper for a new Loft-exclusive collaboration: the “Chinatown Series.” The collection will be available from July 11, 2026, at 176 Loft stores nationwide and on the Loft Net Store.
The announcement comes on the heels of the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking, which saw a record-breaking total of 70,647,379 votes—112% of last year’s count. Pompompurin took first place for the second consecutive year and fifth time overall, gathering over 7 million votes in its 30th anniversary year. Cinnamoroll, who led the initial rankings, placed second, followed by Pochacco in third, Kuromi in fourth, and Hello Kitty in fifth.
Now in its fourth iteration, the Hapidanbui × Furukawa Paper collaboration adopts a retro Chinatown theme, featuring the characters alongside Chinese cuisine motifs. The lineup includes 48 types across 9 items, such as a shop-shaped box memo and a Loft Net Store exclusive tool box set.

- Clear Seal (7 types, 385 yen each)
- Sticker (7 types, 440 yen each)

Additionally, the Loft Net Store will offer an exclusive “O-dougubako Set” (tool box set) for 3,960 yen.
This Loft-exclusive stationery series combines the retro atmosphere of Chinatown with the adorable charm of the Hapidanbui characters. Fans can find the items at Ginza Loft, Shibuya Loft, and other Loft locations, as well as the Loft Net Store.
