An official website has opened for the television anime adaptation of NANAI Umihoshi’s manga Kizuguchi to Houtai (Wound and Bandage), revealing the main staff and two teaser visuals. The anime is scheduled to premiere in January 2027 at 2:00 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi’s ANiMAZiNG programming block.

Umihoshi originally began the romantic comedy manga as a one-shot in Monthly Magazine Base in February 2024. The manga began serializing in Comic Days magazine the following August. Kodansha published the fourth volume on February 17, with the fifth volume going on sale on July 16.
Synopsis
Kiritani, the vice-leader of the Kurotorikai yakuza group, is assigned to be the caretaker for Riyo Washizu, the daughter of the Washizugumi organization’s grand chairman. Although Kiritani initially thinks this task will be easy because Riyo appears obedient, he later discovers that Riyo has a specific fetish called ‘Yowaraa.’ This fetish makes Riyo feel aroused whenever she sees someone strong or tough become weak and helpless. The story focuses on the romantic comedy relationship between the young yakuza lady and her caretaker.
