The third art exhibition for the manga Haikyuu!!, titled Furudate Haruichi Haikyuu!! Exhibition: Chousensha-tachi (Challengers), has unveiled its second key visual, “Josou (Hinata Shouyou)”. The illustration, newly drawn by series creator Furudate Haruichi, was posted on the official X (formerly Twitter) account, sparking an outpouring of praise and excitement from fans.
New Key Visual Captures Hinata’s Growth
Following the first key visual “Shisei o Tadasu” (Correct Posture) released in April, this second visual centers on protagonist Hinata Shouyou as he leaps into the air. The background, drawn from Hinata’s own perspective, weaves together key moments from his journey—encounters with teammates and rivals that have shaped his growth. The official X post announcing the visual also shared details on tickets, visitor benefits, and exhibition goods, and has already garnered over 79,000 likes.
Fan Reactions Overflow with Emotion
Comments on the post reflect the powerful impact of the illustration. Fans wrote: “I can feel Hinata’s growth just from this key visual and it makes me cry!”, “Drawing the background from the protagonist’s perspective is genius, isn’t it?!”, “Why do I cry just from looking at this picture?!”, “Damn, I’m tearing up so much”, “Every encounter has become nourishment for Hinata—it’s so moving”, “This Kageyama looks seriously good”, and “Wait wait wait wait!!!!! This is too good!!!!”.
Voice Actor Kaji Yuuki Shares His Thoughts
Kaji Yuuki, the voice actor for Kozume Kenma, also reposted the visual with a heartfelt comment: “The famous scenes from Hinata’s perspective. It’s heartwarming to think that these moments were especially memorable to him. I’m glad that Kenma is part of that history.”
