Fujiya’s popular experiential shop “Peko-chan’s School” makes its first appearance in Shizuoka Prefecture. “Peko-chan’s School in Entetsu Department Store” will open for a limited time from July 30 to August 16, 2026, at Entetsu Department Store in Shizuoka.
“Peko-chan’s School” is an experiential shop themed around the school that Fujiya’s mascot character Peko-chan attends, where visitors can learn secrets about cakes and sweets. After successful runs in Tokyo in 2024 and in Osaka and Fukuoka in 2025, the shop makes its Shizuoka debut.
With the theme “What would it be like if Peko-chan’s school actually existed?”, visitors can enjoy learning secrets and trivia about cakes and sweets through content and hands-on workshops. The venue is designed as a school-like space with fun features, allowing guests to experience a “sweet classroom.” Also noteworthy is the key visual of Peko-chan at the entrance of “Peko-chan’s School.”

During the event period, a “Coloring Fan Making” workshop will be held. Participants can freely color a sheet featuring Peko-chan, Poko-chan, cakes, and more to create their own original fan.

Additionally, an interactive content where you can learn about cakes by “flipping” pages will be available. When you flip the paper, scenes of Peko-chan making a cake appear, and by flipping in order, you can learn tips for making delicious cakes.
At the venue, original goods such as an A4 tote bag, lunch tote bag, mechanical pencil, ballpoint pen, reversible board, and memo pad in “Peko-chan’s School” original designs will be sold, along with many standard Peko-chan goods like daily necessities and stationery. The lineup is enjoyable for both children and adults.

Furthermore, to commemorate the opening of “Peko-chan’s School in Entetsu Department Store,” a happy bag sale and a sticker giveaway for purchasers will be held. The happy bags come in two types of assorted sets containing Peko-chan dolls, goods, and sweets, available in limited quantities. Also, customers who spend 1,000 yen or more (tax included) at the venue will receive one “Peko in SHIZUOKA Original Sticker.”

During the summer vacation period, Entetsu Department Store will hold the “Summer Waku Waku! Kids Festa.” “Peko-chan’s School” will be featured as one of the contents within this event, and will also be linked with store-wide campaigns such as a puzzle rally.
