Fans of the Toy Story franchise can now carry a piece of the adventure with them, as Samantha Thavasa unveils a new collection inspired by the upcoming film Toy Story 5. The lineup includes handbags and accessories themed around beloved characters Woody and Buzz Lightyear.
Toy Story 5 is set to hit theaters on July 3, 2026, and follows the story of Bonnie, a shy and imaginative girl whose world changes when a tablet called the “Lilypad” enters her life. As Bonnie becomes absorbed in the screen, her cherished cowgirl doll Jessie notices the spark fading from their playtime. Determined to restore Bonnie’s joy, Jessie calls on Woody for help. Together with Buzz Lightyear, they embark on a journey where they encounter high-tech toys known as Smartie Pants, leading to unexpected alliances and a deeper exploration of the bond between humans and toys.
Now, Samantha Thavasa brings the film’s charm into fashion with two handbag designs and a versatile mini pouch.
The “Woody” Handbag is crafted in beige and brown tones, echoing the cowboy’s signature look. It features a Sagara embroidery patch of Woody, along with a belt motif and a boot patch to capture the character’s essence. The bag has a wide gusset for ample storage and comes with a detachable shoulder strap for 2-way use.

The “Buzz Lightyear” Handbag takes inspiration from the space ranger with a green and white color scheme. A Sagara embroidery patch of Buzz is complemented by airplane and rocket patches. The reverse side features Samantha Thavasa’s logo tape, allowing the bag to be worn either side depending on the occasion.

Also available is the “Mini Mini Le Petit Mignon,” a tiny accessory that can be used as a bag charm or a mini pouch. Each version is decorated with colors and motifs representing the respective character. A chain allows it to be attached to a bag, and it is sized to hold small items like earphones, lip balm, or mini hand cream.

The Samantha Thavasa Toy Story collection will be available for advance reservation on the official online shop starting July 13 (Monday). Reservations at Samantha Thavasa retail stores begin July 14 (Tuesday), with nationwide sales starting July 21 (Monday).
