A brand-new sticker book celebrating the 30th anniversary of manga artist Tanemura Arina’s career is set to release on September 25, 2026. The collection brings together her iconic works such as Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon o Sagashite, letting fans enjoy her glittering world in sticker form.
Since her debut in 1996, Tanemura has delivered numerous hit series including Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon o Sagashite. Her heroines—who carve their own paths toward their dreams—and her unique worldview, which goes beyond mere cuteness to encompass fantasy and longing, have captivated many young readers.
Her popularity remains strong both in Japan and abroad, including across Asia, with roughly 760,000 followers on X. Her original art exhibitions and collaborative projects have also been well received. Until September 21, 2026, the Tanemura Arina 30th Anniversary Exhibition: Kirakira Shoujo-tachi no Yumemonogatari is being held in Kyoto.
To mark this milestone for an artist often called a pillar of Heisei-era girl culture, a deluxe sticker book containing 319 hologram stickers across 16 sheets is now on the way. It features beautiful illustrations from popular works serialized in the shoujo manga magazines Ribon and Margaret, including Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne and Full Moon o Sagashite.
True to its Ribon roots, the sticker book also includes stickers inspired by classic magazine extras. This includes all 52 designs from a playing card set, as well as nostalgic photos of completed assembly-type papercraft extras and envelopes from all-applicant giveaway campaigns.
Alongside the release, Tanemura herself shared a comment about the sticker book and the appeal of her creative world.
