A pop-up shop celebrating the theatrical release of Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 Chapter 6: Blue Labyrinth will be held at Tokyo Solamachi from July 29 to August 4, 2026. The event, titled “Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 Tokyo Solamachi POP UP SHOP,” will offer a variety of exclusive merchandise, including collaboration items featuring newly drawn illustrations by Maami Kia and products based on the latest chapter.

Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 is a completely new reconstruction of the 1980 film Yamato yo Towa ni and the TV series Space Battleship Yamato III, adding fresh interpretations. It is the latest entry in the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 series, consisting of 26 episodes screened in theaters nationwide, starting with Chapter 1: Black Invasion in July 2024. Chapter 6: Blue Labyrinth, which sees the Yamato crossing a time-space node and arriving in Tokyo in 2026 instead of the future, has been showing since June 26. The next and final chapter, Chapter 7: Rainbow Ring, depicting a “splendid end,” is scheduled to begin screenings on October 30.

For the pop-up shop, Maami Kia—who handles the series’ image drawings and teaser visuals—has created a special collaboration illustration featuring Tokyo Skytree and the Space Battleship Yamato. This artwork will be used on various collaboration products.
In line with the theme of Chapter 6: Blue Labyrinth, new original illustrations have been drawn under the concept “What if the characters appeared in Tokyo in 2026?” These include depictions of Kodai Susumu and Mori Yuki shopping in the city, and will be used on a wide range of new merchandise.
As a purchase bonus, customers will receive one random “mini bromide” (five types in total) for every 2,000 yen (tax included) spent. Additionally, a lottery with luxurious prizes will be held for shoppers.
To commemorate the event, Bandai Namco Filmworks’ official online store “A-on STORE” will begin accepting orders for a frame art product called “88 Graph” featuring Maami Kia’s illustration, as well as a “Pullback [Space Battleship Yamato]” toy in a virtual-body-style clear blue version. The order period runs from July 29 at 10:00 to August 30 at 23:59. Sample items will be displayed at the pop-up shop venue, so fans are encouraged to check them out.
