The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming anime film Wareware wa Uchuujin (We Are Aliens) has revealed additional cast members, the theme song, a new key visual, and the main trailer. The film is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on September 25.
Joining the cast are Matsui Kemuri as Batahara and Yamasaki Ten as Konatsu.

Japanese singer adieu, known for her work on Honzuki no Gekokujou: Shisho ni Naru Tame ni wa Shudan wo Erandeiraremasen, performs the theme song “Sasakure,” which is previewed in the trailer.
Kadowaki Kouhei, who served as episode director on Beastars 2nd Season, is directing and writing the screenplay at studio Nothing New. Yaffle, known for Entotsu Machi no Poupelle, composes the music.
A crowdfunding campaign was launched on Motion Gallery in November 2025 with a goal of 8 million yen. The project has exceeded its target, currently raising over 9 million yen.
