The next chapter in the Godzilla film series, Godzilla-0.0 (Godzilla Minus Zero), is set to hit theaters on November 3, 2026. Ahead of that, Bandai Spirits’ Tamashii Nations brand has announced a new S.H.MonsterArts figure of the King of the Monsters as he appears in the film. The S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2026) is scheduled for release in November 2026 at a price of 14,850 yen (tax included).
Godzilla, the iconic giant monster born from Japan, has starred in 30 films since the original 1954 movie. In recent years, the franchise has seen renewed global attention: Shin Godzilla (2016), directed by Hideaki Anno of Evangelion fame, and Godzilla-1.0 (2023), which made history as the first Japanese film to win the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
The new S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2026) brings the creature from Godzilla-0.0 into three dimensions. The figure is sculpted and produced under the direction of Yuji Sakai, who handled the prototype, coloring, and modeling. It is based directly on the 3D data used in the film, ensuring an accurate recreation of the on-screen design.
The figure features a wide range of articulation, allowing for dynamic posing that captures the monster’s powerful presence. Standing approximately 160mm tall, it is made of PVC and ABS. The set includes the figure body only.
