To celebrate the upcoming live-action film, a limited-time theme cafe dedicated to the hit anime Blue Lock is set to open in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. The “Blue Lock Cafe -Blue Prison-” will run from August 20 to September 20, 2026, at BOX cafe＆space GEMS Shibuya, offering fans a chance to dine on dishes inspired by their favorite characters.
Menu Highlights
Yoichi Isagi’s Genovese Pasta features turnip carved into puzzle pieces, with basil green representing his “winning formula.”
Seishiro Nagi’s Lemon Cream Omurice is a light, refined dish topped with lemon cream and decorated with his iconic line, “Hey Reo, soccer is fun, isn’t it?”
Jinpachi Ego’s Yakisoba-Style Waffle brings an element of chance: a dice roll determines whether you get the “win” plate (with egg, carrot, and pork) or the “lose” plate (simple yakisoba).
Meguru Bachira’s Pineapple Pancake combines pineapple and honey for a tropical dessert that captures his free-spirited, “monster” playfulness.
Hyoma Chigiri’s Berry Chiffon Cake features cassis sorbet and berries, highlighting his striking presence.
Reo Mikage’s Sweet Potato Plate Parfait uses purple potato chips and sauce for an elegant contrast, with the words “Let’s play soccer” written on the plate.
Anri Teieri’s Chai Pudding offers a sweet, sophisticated chai-flavored dessert.
Drinks and Special Lattes
Five character-themed drinks are available:
- Yoichi Isagi: Lime Mint Drink
- Seishiro Nagi: Black Lemon Soda
- Meguru Bachira, Hyoma Chigiri, and Reo Mikage also have their own fruity, photogenic beverages.
A hot latte topped with random art of Jinpachi Ego (four variations) is also on the menu.
Reservation and Merchandise
Reservations are required and open from July 31, 2026, at 12:00 JST via the cafe’s official site (site goes live July 29). The reservation fee is 660 yen (tax included) per person, and each reservation comes with a random “Original Invitation Card” (7 types) featuring chibi character designs.
Additionally, each drink order (excluding side drinks) includes a random “Original Coaster” (7 types) in character colors.
Exclusive cafe merchandise will be sold both on-site and online (from August 20 to September 20). Items include random can badges (7 types), acrylic keyholders, and a set of two clear files featuring anime scene shots.
