From Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica comes a new line of plush keychains featuring the series’ heroines as adorable cats. The “withCAT Eye Mask Plush Keychain Plus” is set to launch in late October 2026.
What Is withCAT?
The withCAT series is designed to let fans casually carry their favorite characters in a cute cat-themed form. Each plush comes with a removable eye mask that lets you change the character’s expression, and a poseable tail with a wire inside so the plush can stand on its own. The Plus version adds an item part—a detachable weapon—for even more display and play options.

About the Series
Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica originally aired as a TV series in 2011 and became a massive hit. It follows ordinary middle school second-year Madoka Kaname as a mysterious encounter leads her into the world of magical girls born from wishes. Directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, with screenplay by Gen Urobuchi (Nitroplus) and original character designs by Ume Aoki, the series blends cute daily life with unpredictable, thrilling twists. The animation by Shaft, avant-garde visuals by Gekidan Inu Curry, and dramatic music by Yuki Kajiura all contributed to its widespread acclaim.
In 2012, the TV series was re-edited into two theatrical films: [Part 1] Beginning Story and [Part 2] Eternal Story, followed in 2013 by [Part 3] Rebellion Story. That film became the first late-night anime theatrical release to earn over 2 billion yen at the box office. The franchise has continued with manga, games, figures, and other merchandise. The completely new film Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten, a direct sequel to Rebellion Story, is scheduled for release on August 28, 2026, after a delay.

The “withCAT Eye Mask Plush Keychain Plus” is priced at 2,970 yen each (tax included) and is scheduled for release around late October 2026. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at Animate stores nationwide, Animate Online, and Movic Mail Order.
