New capsule toy merchandise for Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) has arrived, featuring a set of all nine Hashira with their distinctive sword guards, as well as a sleepy-time series that includes Upper Moon demons in their human forms. The products are rolling out at capsule vending machines nationwide.
Hashira Nichirin Tsuba Mascots
The “Nichirin Tsuba Mascots” (日輪刀めじるしマスコット) are charm mascots shaped like the tsuba (sword guards) of the Hashira’s Nichirin blades. The lineup includes all nine Hashira: Tomioka Giyuu, Kochou Shinobu, Rengoku Kyoujurou, Uzui Tengen, Kanroji Mitsuri, Tokitou Muichirou, Iguro Obanai, Shinazugawa Sanemi, and Himejima Gyoumei. Each mascot comes with a nameplate for a premium finish.
Onemu-tan 14th Form
The “Onemu-tan 14th Form” (おねむたん 拾肆ノ型) is the latest entry in the popular sleepy character series. This set features five all-new sculpts: Komaki, Koizuka, Douma (childhood), Kaigaku (Demon Slayer Corps), and Murata. Notably, it includes Upper Moon demons as they appeared when they were still human. Each capsule costs 400 yen (tax included).
Background
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Gotouge Koyoharu, published by Shueisha in Jump Comics with 23 volumes and over 220 million copies in circulation. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy whose family is killed by demons and whose sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to fight demons and find a cure. The anime is produced by ufotable, starting with the TV series in April 2019. The theatrical trilogy Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle began with Chapter 1: Akaza’s Return on July 18, 2025, which ran for 266 days until April 9, 2026, drawing 27,455,968 viewers and earning 40.2 billion yen at the box office—the second highest domestic gross in Japanese history. Blu-ray and DVD releases began July 29.
