Custom collaboration bags inspired by the teachers of Ninjutsu Academy and the Tasogaredoki Ninja Army from the anime Nintama Rantarou are now available. The “O-tomo Petit Bag” line is produced by SuperGroupies, a brand known for anime and character collaboration items.
The anime Nintama Rantarou, based on the ninja gag manga by Amako Soubee, follows the daily struggles of Rantarou, Shinbe, and Kirimaru as they train to become first-class ninjas at Ninjutsu Academy. The TV series has been airing since 1993 and is beloved by a wide range of generations.
On December 20, 2024, the highly anticipated film Gekijouban Nintama Rantarou: Dokutake Ninja Tai Saikyou no Gunshi was released, adapting the popular novel. The story begins with Doi-sensei going missing after heading to a duel with Tasogaredoki ninja Shozan Suitonmon, leading to a more serious narrative than usual.
Two Models of Custom “O-tomo Petit Bag”
Two designs are available: the “Ninjutsu Academy Teachers Model” and the “Tasogaredoki Ninja Army Model.” Each bag is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, including hidden motifs inside.
Ninjutsu Academy Teachers Model O-tomo Petit Bag
Inspired by the teachers’ ninja uniforms, the bag features a calm color scheme suitable for everyday use. Three shuriken are subtly embossed as a discreet accent. The interior features a hand-drawn original textile filled with everyday items from the teachers’ lives: attendance books, blackboard erasers, chalk, shuriken, and Hemuhemu’s footprints. A tag shaped like the Ninjutsu Academy nameplate is also included. A removable photo holder comes with the bag.
Tasogaredoki Ninja Army Model O-tomo Petit Bag
Inspired by the ninja uniforms of the Tasogaredoki Ninja Army, this bag has three shuriken embossed on the back belt section. The interior uses a hand-drawn original textile featuring twilight colors, kunai, shuriken, a water bottle, a mask, and a sword. A tag featuring the puppet of Zatto Konnamon sold at the school store is a highlight. A removable photo holder is also included.
Reservation Details
The two custom “O-tomo Petit Bags” are available for reservation from July 14, 2026 (Tuesday) at 16:00 to August 10, 2026 (Monday) at 12:00 via the SuperGroupies official website, Animate Online Shop, and Animate Umeda store. Samples can be viewed at the Animate Umeda store. Each bag is priced at 17,600 yen (tax included).
