The beloved character Monchhichi, loved across generations, is teaming up with street fashion brand WIND AND SEA for a special collaboration collection.
Monchhichi was first released in 1974 by Sekiguchi Co., Ltd. Known for its pacifier pose and adorable freckles, the character features a plush body with soft vinyl face and hands. Its unique design sparked a massive boom upon release, and exports began the following year, making it a global favorite.
This new collection combines Monchhichi’s enduring charm with WIND AND SEA’s street culture perspective. The lineup uses graphics and colorways that highlight Monchhichi’s appeal from a fresh, fashion-forward angle, resulting in pieces that are both cute and cool, and designed to be enjoyed by fans of all ages.
In addition to adult sizes, the collection also includes kids’ sizes, so parents and children can coordinate outfits and enjoy the collaboration together across generations.
