All three seasons of the Hajime no Ippo anime—127 episodes in total—plus the Champion Road TV special and the Mashiba vs Kimura – Shikei Shikkou OVA are coming to ABEMA for the first time. The limited-time free broadcast begins on August 10, 2026, at 6:00 PM, with episodes airing daily. After each broadcast, viewers can watch all episodes free for one week.
About Hajime no Ippo
Based on Morikawa George’s long-running boxing manga, Hajime no Ippo has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 1989. The manga has surpassed 145 volumes, with total cumulative copies of the series exceeding 100 million. The story follows Makunouchi Ippo, a high school student who is constantly bullied, until he meets professional boxer Takamura Mamoru. Inspired by Takamura, Ippo takes up boxing and transforms himself into a strong fighter. The anime is known for its realistic and intense match sequences, as well as its colorful rival characters, human drama, and comedic moments.
