The special exhibition tracing the career of PEACH-PIT, the manga duo behind hit series like Shugo Chara! and Rozen Maiden, is coming to Nagoya. The “PEACH-PIT 25th Anniversary Special Exhibition” will run from September 19 (Saturday) to October 12 (Monday, holiday) at the Efreed Building in Nagoya, with an area map for the venue already released.
PEACH-PIT is a creative unit made up of Chido Mari and Ebara Shibuko. They have earned widespread acclaim for their delicate, vibrant visual style and storytelling that digs deep into characters’ inner worlds. After debuting in 2001, the duo produced a steady stream of notable works, including DearS and ZOMBIE-LOAN. Their gothic fantasy Rozen Maiden, featuring antique dolls, and the Nakayoshi serialized Shugo Chara!, which follows a girl growing up alongside the “shugo chara” in her heart, have become signature works.
The exhibition previously wrapped up successful runs in Los Angeles and Tokyo in July 2025. For the Nagoya edition, the event will trace PEACH-PIT’s 25-year history across a variety of publishers and magazines, with three-dimensional displays faithfully recreating the worlds of their works, photo spots, and video footage of the creators’ own manga-making process.
Nagoya-Only Goods
The venue will sell a range of Nagoya-exclusive merchandise, including lucky charm-style straps, face plushies, and shopper bags.
For every purchase of 5,500 yen (tax included) at the goods area, visitors will receive one randomly selected replica mini shikishi board drawn by PEACH-PIT exclusively for the Nagoya event. There are seven designs in total.
Advance tickets are only available in a goods-included format. These include a limited-quantity “Nagoya venue exclusive pin set” printed with PEACH-PIT’s signature.
Entry bonuses are also planned: a Nagoya-only original card in six random designs, available while supplies last.
The exhibition will run until October 12, 2026, inviting fans to immerse themselves in PEACH-PIT’s unique blend of cuteness and darkness, pop appeal and deep human drama.
