TV anime Gintama is getting a new set of acrylic message displays that are perfect for use at home or in the office. Pre-orders for the Vol. 2 lineup are now open from August 17, 2026 at 12:00 JST until September 13, 2026 at 23:00 JST.
Gintama is a long-running series set in Edo after the arrival of aliens (Tenjin) changed society. Known for its blend of comedy, action, and heartfelt moments, the TV anime aired from 2006 to 2018, concluding with episode 367 in October 2018. The franchise also includes multiple theatrical films, including the 2026 release Shin Gekijouban Gintama -Yoshiwara Dai Enjou- which opened on February 13, 2026.
Acrylic Message Display Vol. 2
The new acrylic message displays feature five different messages, each with a character design. The lineup includes:
- Sadaharu: “Jitaku keibi-chuu” (Guarding the house)
- Hijikata Toushirou: “Mayoneezu ga tarimasen” (Not enough mayonnaise)
- Okita Sougo: “Chokki shimasu” (Going straight home)
- Katsura Kotarou: “Chokkou shimasu” (Going straight to work)
- Yorozuya members: “Torikomichuu” (Busy)
The message plates are designed so that the part that fits into the base is the same size across all variants, allowing you to swap the text pieces between stands.
Pricing and Availability
Each display is priced at 1,760 yen (tax included). Orders placed during the reservation period will ship in October 2026.
