Seiyuu to Yoru Asobi x Nijisanji Collab Week Draws Huge Response

ABEMA’s original variety show Seiyuu to Yoru Asobi is in the middle of a special collaboration week with the popular VTuber group Nijisanji, and the first two episodes have already sparked a wave of enthusiastic reactions from fans.

Special Collaboration Week Kicks Off

Now in its ninth year, Seiyuu to Yoru Asobi features popular voice actors teaming up as MCs. The show airs every day from 10:00 PM on ABEMA, with a monthly “Tsunagu (Connect) WEEK” as well. This week, ten Nijisanji livers are joining the program for a special collaboration run.

Monday: Yasumoto & Enoki Welcome Saiki and Joe

After the Monday broadcast, MCs Enoki Junya and Yasumoto Hiroki each took to X to share their thoughts. Enoki wrote, “Thank you, Rikiichi-san and Ittetsu-san! Ittetsu-san’s X bio says ‘Evil is instantly cut’ – sorry about that.” Yasumoto posted, “Thanks for tonight. And thanks to Riki-chan and Tet-chan. Both of them were incredibly quick-witted and reliable. Ah, that was so much fun. I hope they come back anytime.”

Fans of the show who were unfamiliar with Nijisanji also chimed in. Comments included: “I was surprised by the unexpected collab, but hearing the four of them talk was so enjoyable,” “It was great seeing them mess around together and also hearing serious answers during the Q&A corner,” “I don’t know much about them, but the two guests were funny and fun to watch,” “I learned about them and their unexpected common points,” “Please have them back!” and “They decided on nicknames but then mixed them up halfway – that was great.”

From the Nijisanji side, Joe Rikiichi posted, “Thank you for watching! Thanks to the two warm-hearted MCs and Tet-chan, I had a great time – so much that Riki-chan turned into a ship. Please check out the rest of the week!” Saiki Ittetsu added, “I was really nervous, but thanks to Yasumoto-san, Enoki-san, and Rikiichi-senpai’s warm atmosphere, I had a blast! I got to ask what I wanted and the games were fun too! Thank you so much!! I need to talk to whoever told me to lick a rock.”

Nijisanji fans also praised the episode: “Monday kicked off the collab week perfectly – so much fun!” “So happy to see them on my favorite show,” “I laughed a ton,” “I thought they looked nervous, but they seemed to enjoy themselves and so did I,” “Glad I got to learn more about Riki-chan!” and “The 90 minutes flew by with non-stop fun talk between Yasumoto-san, Enoki-san, and Saiki-kun.”

Tuesday: Hikasa & Serizawa with Kuramochi and Honma

On Tuesday, MCs Hikasa Youko and Serizawa Yuu were joined by Kuramochi Meruto and Honma Himawari. After the show, Honma posted a photo with the four of them smiling, writing, “I dropped by Yoru Asobi! It was so fun it’s choberigu and now. Meruchi and I got all excited. Hikasa Youko-san, Serizawa Yuu-san, thank you so much!” Kuramochi wrote, “It was super fun!! Hikasa-san! Serizawa-san! Hima-san! A truly choberigu level of thanks! I want to chat again – dron!”
