Kamen Rider fans have a reason to celebrate: a new compilation book collecting Kazuhiko Shimamoto’s takes on Kamen Rider Black and Kamen Rider ZO hit shelves on August 20, 2026. The release comes as the Kamen Rider franchise marks its 55th anniversary.

The book, titled Kamen Rider Black × Kamen Rider ZO, reproduces two works: Kamen Rider Black PART⊗ Imitation・7, an external story of Kamen Rider Black, and Kamen Rider ZO, with their original color pages from magazine serialization. It also includes a brand-new four-page full-color opening for Black, drawn exclusively for this edition.

New illustrations and a massive interview
Beyond the reprinted stories, this edition offers plenty of exclusive content. Black opens with a specially drawn four-page color sequence. The book also includes newly drawn illustrations for both ZO and Black, plus a dense 15,000-word interview featuring Ishimori Pro and Hayase Masato.

From Kamen Rider ZO
The interview section is split into Black and ZO parts, and the book also contains an illustration collection that includes pieces appearing in a collected volume for the first time. Whether you’re discovering these stories for the first time or revisiting them, the collection is designed to satisfy both groups.
