The world of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) can now be brought into your daily space with a new line of fragrance diffusers from SHOLAYERED’s THE FRAME series. Featuring 13 characters from the hit anime, the collection went on sale on August 19, 2026.
The Background of Kimetsu no Yaiba
Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, serialized in Shueisha’s Jump Comics with 23 volumes and cumulative circulation exceeding 150 million copies. The story follows Kamado Tanjirou, a boy who joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family is killed by demons and his sister Nezuko is turned into one. The anime, produced by ufotable, began airing in April 2019 with the “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” and has continued with various installments. The latest theatrical trilogy, Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Castle Arc, began with “Chapter One: Akaza’s Return” on July 18, 2025, and reruns of the entire series have been airing every Sunday from April 5, 2026.
THE FRAME Series and the New Diffusers
The new release is part of SHOLAYERED’s THE FRAME series, which launched in 2026 with the concept of “framing stories with fragrance.” The series aims to capture the essence of famous characters and scenes through scent, offering a new way to connect with beloved works.
For this collaboration, all 13 fragrance diffusers are now available. Each one captures the distinctive world of a character through both visual design and scent. The collection is designed to be enjoyed as part of daily life and as a collectible item.
The lineup includes: Kamado Tanjirou, Kamado Nezuko, Agatsuma Zenitsu, Hashibira Inosuke, Tomioka Giyuu, Kochou Shinobu, Rengoku Kyoujurou, Uzui Tengen, Kanroji Mitsuri, Tokitou Muichirou, Shinazugawa Sanemi, Himejima Gyoumei, and Iguro Obanai.
The fragrance itself features wisteria flowers, a symbolic motif from the series. SHOLAYERED has specially blended a floral scent that evokes the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba while gently blending into everyday spaces with an elegant finish.
Staying true to the THE FRAME concept, these diffusers allow fans to enjoy the atmosphere of their favorite characters in everyday life.
