The final collaboration to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime Osomatsu-san has been announced: a team-up with Gintama. The newly released visual highlights the distinctive personalities of both series’ characters, featuring Osomatsu and Sakata Gintoki enjoying a drink together (alcohol and strawberry milk), as well as Ichimatsu and Okita Sougo posing with a bazooka.
Osomatsu-san is based on the classic gag manga Osomatsu-kun by Akatsuka Fujio. The anime portrays the sextuplet brothers as grown-up, unemployed slackers. The first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, followed by a second season from October 2017 to March 2018. A theatrical film, Eiga no Osomatsu-san, was released in March 2019. The third season ran from October 2020 to March 2021, and anniversary films were released in July 2022 and July 2023. The fourth season aired from July to September 2025, and the TV anime reached its 10th anniversary on October 6, 2025.
As the final installment of the 10th anniversary collaborations, Gintama now joins the celebration. Original merchandise featuring the collaboration visual is also in production, with sales details and purchasing information to be announced at a later date.
