The official teaser PV for Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation ~Episode of Savanaclaw~ has arrived, along with the announcement that Fairouz Ai will voice Hirasaka Yuuga, a new character who gets swept up in Leona Kingscholar’s schemes. The anime is set to stream exclusively on Disney+ starting December 2026.
Based on the hit mobile game Disney Twisted-Wonderland, the series draws inspiration from iconic Disney villains and is set in the prestigious Night Raven College, a school for magic users. The game’s original concept, main scenario, and character designs were created by Yana Toboso, the manga artist known for Black Butler. The anime adaptation began with Episode of Heartslabyul in October 2025, and that installment was nominated for the Best Isekai Anime award at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards 2026.
Leona’s Hidden Resolve and a Suspicious Plan
The new teaser PV offers a striking look at Leona Kingscholar (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara), a student with immense magical power who nevertheless shuns effort. His inner resolve and distorted emotions are vividly portrayed. “Life is unfair,” he mutters, reflecting on his lonely childhood as a second prince. “There are plenty of things in this world that won’t change no matter how hard you try. That’s why I won’t choose my methods.”
Alongside Leona, Ruggie Bucchi (voiced by Aoi Ichikawa) wears a suspicious smile, as if plotting something, while Jack Howl (voiced by Taito Ban) looks visibly uneasy. The video also captures reactions from Grim (voiced by Noriaki Sugiyama), Heartslabyul dorm leader Riddle Rosehearts (voiced by Natsuki Hanae), Ace Trappola (voiced by Seiichiro Yamashita), Deuce Spade (voiced by Chiaki Kobayashi), and Cater Diamond (voiced by Ryu Kobayashi). Trey Clover (voiced by Ryota Suzuki) is shown collapsed on the ground in pain, and the newly revealed Hirasaka Yuuga appears as well, hinting at the turbulent story to come.
“How’s the plan going?” Leona asks. “Everything’s going perfectly, Leona-san,” Ruggie replies with a mischievous grin. The Savanaclaw dorm’s wicked scheme is about to begin.
Hirasaka Yuuga: A Newcomer Caught in the Storm
Hirasaka Yuuga, voiced by Fairouz Ai, is a high school student who was active in the judo club. On his way home from a tournament, he encounters a mysterious carriage and is transported to Twisted Wonderland. While searching for a way back to his world, he ends up staying at Night Raven College and unknowingly becomes entangled in Leona’s machinations.
