The official website for the television anime adaptation of Yu So-nan and Uk-jakga’s manhwa Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu has revealed new staff and the first promotional video for its second season. The season is scheduled to premiere in October 2026 and will air every Thursday at 12:45 a.m. on Fuji TV’s +Ultra programming block.

Produced by Arvo Animation, the first season aired for 12 episodes in Fall 2023. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles outside of Asia and later began streaming an English dub.
Source Material
Yu So-nan wrote the action fantasy web novel on KakaoPage between September 2016 and August 2019. Together with Uk-jakga, Yu began serializing the manhwa on the same platform in May 2018. D&C Media released the seventh volume in March 2025. Tappytoon has been publishing the manhwa digitally in English since June 2020. Yen Press licensed the series for a physical English release in October 2021 and shipped the sixth volume on April 28. In Japan, Piccoma has been serializing the manhwa since July 2019, and Kadokawa published the third physical volume in October 2023.
