Sanrio’s beloved twin star characters, Little Twin Stars and Magical Twin Comets, are teaming up with Thank You Mart for a new line of limited-edition merchandise. The items will roll out to Thank You Mart stores across Japan starting in mid-September, with availability varying by location and item.
Character Background
Little Twin Stars are twin brother and sister stars born in the caring star of Yume Nebula. Kiki and Lala journeyed from a distant star country to become brilliant shining stars. Meanwhile, Magical Twin Comets are twin stars born in the magic star of Yume Nebula. As childhood friends of Kiki and Lala, Lili and Lulu help grant people’s wishes as “omajinai-ya” (spell shopkeepers).
A Dream Collaboration
This collaboration follows the success of the Little Twin Stars limited items released in December 2023. Now, Magical Twin Comets items join the lineup, creating a dreamy partnership that brings both characters’ fancy worlds to life. The new collection features a “sparkling starry sky” design, capturing the whimsical essence of both sets of characters.
Product Lineup
The collection includes a variety of daily-use goods and beauty items. Among the highlights are umbrella markers, face-hiding student ID cases, long hair clips, and nail parts stickers. The plush hair ties, featuring Kiki and Lala’s face designs, can also be used as accents for bags and pouches. Umbrella markers add a cheerful touch to rainy-day outings, while ankle socks and long hair clips offer subtle ways to incorporate the characters into everyday style.
The face-hiding student ID case comes in a set of two with different patterns, allowing you to cover the photo section while decorating your ID or cards. The limited-edition items will be available at Thank You Mart stores nationwide starting in mid-September, as each store receives its shipment. Additionally, a web advance reservation period begins on August 21, 2026, at 12:00 JST through the official online shop.
