Sanrio’s beloved golden retriever Pom Pom Purin is joining forces with Fujiya’s iconic mascot Peko-chan for a special anniversary collaboration. A lineup of exclusive sweets, including Pom Pom Purin gummies and Country Ma’am biscuits with new packaging, is rolling out at supermarkets and convenience stores across Japan.
The collaboration follows Pom Pom Purin’s crowning achievement at the 2026 Sanrio Character Awards, where the character took first place for the second consecutive year and the fifth time overall. This year’s event saw a record-breaking total of 70,647,379 votes (112% of last year’s), with Cinnamoroll taking second, Pochacco third, Kuromi fourth, and Hello Kitty fifth.
Pom Pom Purin Gummy
The Pom Pom Purin Gummy is an airy apple-flavored gummy with a soft and chewy texture. The package includes both the character’s face shape and, for dedicated fans, his rear silhouette.
Country Ma’am (Pudding Flavor)
The Country Ma’am (Pudding Flavor) is a cookie made with a caramel-caramel chip filling, capturing the gentle sweetness and rich aroma of custard pudding. The pack features newly drawn illustrations of Pom Pom Purin and his friends enjoying the cookies, while each individually wrapped piece comes in six different designs. A mini size is also available.
Milky Chocolate (Pudding Flavor)
The Milky Chocolate (Pudding Flavor) pairs a mild milk chocolate coating with a pudding-flavored milky whip cream. The packaging highlights Pom Pom Purin alongside a Peko-chan dressed as Pom Pom Purin, with each individual wrapper featuring one of three newly illustrated designs. A small-bag size is also available.
FamilyMart Exclusive Sweets
In addition, FamilyMart stores nationwide are offering a Pom Pom Purin Milky Cookie and Pom Pom Purin Tart to commemorate the 30th anniversary.
The Milky Cookie is a pudding-flavored cookie baked with condensed milk dough, finished with white chocolate chips for a crunchy accent.
The Tart features a caramel sauce on a tart crust, topped with a generous swirl of pudding-flavored mousse that balances creamy richness with caramel.
