Kagurabachi Announces Additional Cast Pair

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Takeru Hokazono’s Kagurabachi manga revealed two additional cast members and character promotional videos on Friday. The anime is scheduled to air in Spring 2027.

New Cast Members

Voice actresses Miku Itou (known for 5-toubun no Hanayome) and Miyari Nemoto (known for Ruri no Houseki) are joining the cast as Hinao and Char Kyounagi, respectively.

Staff and Production

Tetsuya Takeuchi (director of Akuyaku Reijou Tensei Ojisan) is directing the anime at Cypic. Keigo Sasaki (known for Nanatsu no Taizai) is designing the characters. Shochiku and CyberAgent are producing the series.

Manga and English Release

Hokazono began serializing the action fantasy manga in Weekly Shounen Jump in September 2023. Shueisha published the 11th volume on May 1, with the 12th volume planned for a September 4 release. The series has a cumulative 4 million copies in circulation, including digital editions.

VIZ Media licensed the manga in English in March 2024 and published the eighth volume on August 4, with the ninth volume scheduled for November 3. The company also simulpublishes it in English alongside Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform.
