New plushies of Madoka Kaname and Homura Akemi from the upcoming film Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten are now available for pre-order. The super large plushies, part of the “Dokyuuto” line, are being offered on the EC site TAITO GEAR&GOODS starting August 28, 2026 at 11:00 JST.
About the Series
Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica originally aired as a TV anime in 2011, becoming a major phenomenon. The story follows ordinary middle school student Madoka Kaname as she encounters a mysterious creature and is drawn into the world of magical girls. The series was directed by Shinbou Akiyuki, with scripts by Urobuchi Gen (Nitroplus) and character designs by Aoki Ume.
In 2012, two recap films were released, followed by the new film Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Rebellion in 2013. Now, the long-awaited sequel, Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten, is set to open on August 28, 2026.
Super Large Plushies
The new items are the “Dokyuuto Gekijouban Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten Super Large Plushies” featuring Madoka and Homura. Standing at approximately 100cm tall, these plushies make a striking presence. The adorable Dokyuuto design makes the characters even cuter.
The plushies are priced at 66,000 yen (tax included). Pre-orders are open from August 28, 2026 at 11:00 until October 13, 2026 at 23:59, with shipping scheduled for March 2027.
These giant plushies offer fans a chance to bring home a large-scale version of their favorite characters from the upcoming film.
