Fashion accessory maker Kawabe has unveiled a new lineup of Doraemon goods, including refreshed towel handkerchiefs and other items inspired by the beloved series’ secret gadgets.
Doraemon’s Secret Gadgets on Handkerchiefs
Doraemon, the national treasure manga by Fujiko F. Fujio, follows the adventures of the cat-type robot from the future as he helps Nobita grow into a capable adult. The TV anime airs every Saturday at 5:00 p.m. on 24 TV Asahi affiliate stations.
In spring 2027, the latest film in the Doraemon movie series, Eiga Doraemon: Nobita no Jouki Jikan-sha, is scheduled for release. The film is directed by Moriyama Ruchou, who has worked on the TV anime since 2020 and directed many episodes, with scripts by Ueda Makoto, leader of the theater troupe Europe Kikaku, known for works exploring time and science fiction.
New Handkerchief Designs
The new “Print Handkerchief” features Doraemon pulling a secret gadget from his pocket, alongside the Takecopter and Time Furoshiki. The mischievous expression on Doraemon’s face is a highlight. Size: approximately 53 x 53 cm.
The “Triple Gauze Handkerchief” is made of easy-to-use gauze material and is sure to brighten your day just by looking at it. Size: approximately 34 x 34 cm.
Flappable Anywhere Door Towel Handkerchief
The popular “Anywhere Door” series has been renewed as a towel handkerchief. The applique-embroidered door opens to reveal Doraemon and Nobita, and you’ll want to flip it open and closed again and again. There’s also a towel handkerchief featuring the cute “Kamukamu Cat” with its tongue sticking out, embroidered in a charming design.
Embroidered Bags for Outings
The small-sized “Embroidered Bag” returns from the previous season, perfect for short trips. It features a zipper for peace of mind, measuring approximately 36 cm wide, 26 cm tall, and 17 cm deep. Three designs are available with different patterns and colors.
Release Information
Items will be released sequentially from late August to early October. They are available at Kawabe’s online shop, INTER MODE KAWABE.
