Premium Bandai is accepting preorders for the Legacy Art Ohrai Noriyoshi Heisei Godzilla: Godzilla VS King Ghidorah Japanese Version, a large-scale statue inspired by the 1991 film’s poster art.
The piece is part of the Legacy Art line, which turns memorable artwork into three-dimensional collectibles. This release reproduces the Japanese poster art for Godzilla VS King Ghidorah, the second entry in the Heisei VS Godzilla series, at a total height of approximately 82cm.
A poster image brought into three dimensions
The statue contrasts Godzilla’s dark blue-gray body with King Ghidorah’s brilliant gold, aiming for a striking visual contrast between the two monsters. LED units make the gravity beams and missile jets emit light.
In addition to the poster-based heads, the set includes Godzilla and King Ghidorah heads modeled after the suits seen in the film. These original interchangeable parts let collectors move between the illustrated poster world and the live-action imagery.
The poster’s title logo and its stylized Godzilla illustration have also been made into three-dimensional pieces.
