Zero no Tsukaima 20th Anniversary Exhibition Heads to Osaka in October 2026

An exhibition celebrating the 20th anniversary of the TV anime Zero no Tsukaima will be held at Rakubasu Hall on the 3rd floor of Abeno and in Osaka from October 24, 2026.

Zero no Tsukaima is a popular light novel series from MF Bunko J, with cumulative worldwide sales exceeding 6.8 million copies. The story follows a magically inept Louise and her familiar Saito, summoned from another world. The TV anime first aired in 2006, and the final season, Zero no Tsukaima F, was broadcast in 2012. The chemistry between voice actors Hino Satoshi (Saito) and Kugimiya Rie (Louise) was a major talking point at the time and helped earn the series strong support.

This exhibition, which previously ran in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro in August 2026, now travels to Osaka, giving fans in the Kansai region a chance to immerse themselves in the world of the anime. Highlights include a life-size figure of Louise, a full-scale Derflinger, rare setting materials for the characters, a story corner revisiting famous lines and emotional scenes, and more than 100 illustrations.

The special audio guide featuring Kugimiya Rie (Louise) and Hino Satoshi (Saito), which was well received at the Tokyo venue, will also be available. Original goods using newly drawn illustrations for the exhibition, as well as an art book collecting the displayed artwork, are planned.
