Prime Video has officially announced a live-action drama adaptation of the hit light novel series Kusuriya no Hitorigoto (The Apothecary Diaries), with actress Ashida Mana cast in the lead role of Maomao. The TV anime adaptation launched in January 2025, and its second season consistently ranked high on various streaming platforms.

In October 2025, it was announced that the third TV anime season would premiere along with the series’ first theatrical film. On August 15, 2026, the first solo event “Kusuriya no Hitorigoto ~Summer Garden Party 2026~” was held. The third season is scheduled to begin broadcasting on October 2, 2026 (Friday).
