Moomin fans can look forward to a fresh take on comfortable fashion as Bellmuzon Net releases a new inclusive clothing series on September 4, 2026. The lineup, created in collaboration with the beloved Moomin characters, marks the first time the franchise has partnered with an inclusive wear collection.
Moomin is a character created by Finnish author, painter, and artist Tove Jansson. The stories of Moomin and his friends have been translated and published in more than 50 countries. Based on the original novels, comics, and picture books, the franchise has spawned merchandise, attractions, and animations loved by people in Finland, Japan, and many other nations.
The inclusive wear series was born from the desire to create clothes that are not only easy to put on for people with disabilities or illnesses but also something they genuinely want to wear. Following the first release in spring 2026, which included seven kids’ items and six ladies’ items, this second installment teams up with Moomin, a character loved across generations. The collaboration came about because Moomin’s world of accepting diverse personalities aligns with the series’ goal of combining ease of wear with desirability.
The products are based on popular Bellmuzon pajamas and tops, featuring cheerful motifs of Moomin and Little My. Wearing clothes with favorite characters can lift one’s mood and also spark conversations with others.
As with the first installment, the sleeves and sides open wide with snap buttons, making dressing easier and reducing the burden on caregivers.
