The official website for the television anime adaptation of Firehead’s Yasei no Last Boss ga Arawareta! light novel has unveiled additional cast members, the ending theme, and a second promotional video for its upcoming second season. The new season is set to premiere on October 3 at 10:30 p.m. on Tokyo MX, followed by BS Asahi and Kansai TV.

Girls band chakura performs the ending theme “Yurete Skirt,” which is previewed in the promotional video released alongside this announcement.
Staff
Yuuya Horiuchi is directing the anime at WAO World. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handles series composition, Maiko Ebisawa designs the characters, and Technoboys Pulcraft Green-Fund is composing the music.
Broadcast and Previous Season
The first season aired as a 12-episode series in Fall 2025. Crunchyroll simulcast the anime with subtitles and later added dubs in multiple languages.
Story Origins
Firehead began writing the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in October 2015. Earth Star Entertainment later published the light novel under its Earth Star Novel imprint with illustrations by YahaKo. The ninth and final volume was released in April 2019.
Tsubasa Hazuki started drawing a manga adaptation in Comic Earth☆Star in June 2017. The 11th volume shipped in November 2025.
J-Novel Club licensed both the light novel and manga for English digital release in April 2020 and January 2024, respectively. The light novel’s final volume arrived in July 2022, and the 11th manga volume went on sale on August 26.
