JR Tokai’s “Oshi Tabi” campaign is joining forces with the upcoming “Precure” film to offer fans a special train-riding experience. Starting September 18, 2026, passengers on the Tokaido Shinkansen can access a dedicated website and listen to an original voice drama exclusively on board. The collaboration also includes smartphone wallpaper giveaways, postcard and pin badge sets, AR photo frames, and a lottery for an original acrylic stand.
About “Great Detective Precure!”
The “Meitantei Purikyua!” (Great Detective Precure!) television series began airing on February 1, 2026, marking the 23rd installment in the Precure franchise. The story follows 14-year-old middle schooler Akechi Anna, who is guided by a mysterious power and time-travels from the present day to 1999. There she meets Kobayashi Mikuru, a girl her own age who dreams of becoming a detective. Together, they transform into Cure Answer and Cure Mystic to help people who have had precious items stolen and to take on the Phantom Thief group “Phantom”. Chiga Hikari voices Akechi Anna / Cure Answer, while Hondo Kaede voices Kobayashi Mikuru / Cure Mystic. The first theatrical film, “Eiga Meitantei Purikyua! Fushigi na Niwa to Futari no Himitsu” (Great Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Two Secrets), opens in Japanese theaters on September 18, 2026.
The collaboration event runs from September 18 to December 27, 2026, and is designed to make participants feel as though they are traveling alongside Akechi Anna, Kobayashi Mikuru, Hoba Kureha, Mori Aruruka, Pochitan, Shushutan, and Mashutan. By accessing the special site from inside a Tokaido Shinkansen car, riders can listen to the limited “Original Voice Drama”. The drama is split into two parts: Part 1 is available from September 18 to November 6, and Part 2 runs from November 6 to December 7.
Those who listen to the voice drama can also receive a “smartphone wallpaper” as a boarding privilege. One of four designs is awarded at random each day (once per day), and while duplicates can occur, it is possible to collect all four.
Additionally, a set featuring an original illustrated “postcard” and a “pin badge” (randomly selected from 7 designs) will be distributed as a separate gift. The exchange is limited to once per day and can be redeemed at the Precure Pretty Store locations in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, or Osaka (main store).
Furthermore, by enabling location services and visiting the special site at designated spots in Tokyo, Yokohama, Nagoya, or Osaka, fans can obtain one of four “AR photo frames”. A lottery will also be held, giving 30 winners the chance to win an “original acrylic stand”.
