Giant Ouki Panel and 8 Photo Spots: ‘Furuyu Kingdom Onsen District’ Launches in Saga This Summer

The collaboration between the manga Kingdom and Saga Prefecture is heating up this summer with a brand-new attraction: the “Furuyu Kingdom Onsen District” (古湯キングダム温泉郷), opening on July 17, 2026. The project is part of the ongoing “Kingdom × Saga Prefecture ~Don’t let Saga’s fire go out~” campaign, which has already drawn approximately 320,000 participants since its launch on January 27, leading to an extension through September 30.

Located along the main stone-paved street of the Furuyu Onsen town in Saga City’s Fuji-cho, the district will feature eight exclusive photo spots that blend iconic scenes from the series with the hot-spring town’s atmosphere. Among the highlights is a massive panel of General Ouki measuring roughly 9 meters wide by 8 meters tall, described as “too big to comprehend!” (でかすぎて解からねェ!!!). Visitors can also snap a picture with Karyou Ten at the “Nuruyu” footbath spot, or find street lamp flags featuring 17 different characters, a “Ronkou Shoukou” panel, a “Three Generals” panel waiting for a bus, the Ton Tan Tan Bridge, and a curtain depicting the Mountain People.

In addition to the photo spots, a stamp rally will be held across four locations in the Furuyu Onsen area: SAGA FURUYU CAMP, Foresta Fuji, the Saga City Fuji Branch Office rest area, and the Eiryu Onsen rest area. Each stamp station features a memorable scene from the manga, and as visitors collect stamps, the Hi Shin Unit members gradually appear, eventually completing a single illustration. Stamp cards can be picked up at the Fuji-cho Tourist Information Center inside SAGA FURUYU CAMP (10:00–17:00, except Wednesdays) or at Foresta Fuji (8:30–17:15) on Wednesdays.

Starting July 17, the “Kingdom × Furuyu Onsen Campaign” will add a C prize “Original Collaboration Sticker,” and the “Saga Kingdom Airport” will also update its original collaboration sticker design on the same day. With the airport and hot-spring town both joining forces, Saga’s Kingdom collaboration continues to accelerate this summer.

The “Furuyu Kingdom Onsen District” runs from July 17 to September 30, 2026. The project is part of Saga Prefecture’s “Saga-Prise!” information campaign, celebrating the 20th anniversary of Hara Yasuhisa’s Kingdom manga, which began serialization in January 2026. Hara, a native of Saga, has seen his work inspire fans from across the country to visit the prefecture.
