KADOKAWA is accepting pre-orders for a new plastic model kit of Nakano Ichika from the TV special anime Gotoubun no Hanayome∽. The figure captures Ichika in the cheerful summer uniform of Asahi High School, and pre-orders began at the Kadokawa official online shop “Kadostore” on September 17, 2026.
The beloved romantic comedy
The original manga by Haruba Negi ran in Weekly Shonen Magazine. It follows honor student Uesugi Fuutarou, who becomes a tutor for the five Nakano quintuplets—all beautiful but academically struggling sisters—and leads them toward graduation. The TV anime first aired in 2019, with a second season in 2021, followed by a film in May 2022. The Gotoubun no Hanayome∽ TV special and the later Gotoubun no Hanayome＊ were released in theaters in 2023 and 2024, respectively.
Colorful snap-fit model kit
This kit uses pre-colored molded parts and painted components, so it can be assembled to a colorful finish without any extra painting. It also includes a wealth of optional parts, including a school bag, a drink cup, a smartphone, five types of wrist parts, and two display bases (large and small). The movable joints let you recreate characteristic poses from the anime.
Three expression parts are included: a smile, an open-mouth smile, and the “dark fall” face. As a Kadostore exclusive purchase bonus, an additional “crying-smile” face is also included.
Kadostore also offers a special set that adds an acrylic tool stand featuring a newly drawn chibi illustration. This stand can hold modeling tools, letting you organize your desk while enjoying the series’ aesthetic.
Pre-order and release
Pre-orders at Kadostore are open until October 21, 2026. The kit is scheduled to ship in February 2027. The regular version is priced at 9,680 yen (tax included), while the special set costs 11,880 yen (tax included). Assembly requires a nipper, and the model is non-scale, standing approximately 165 mm tall.
