The latest entry in the Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 series, Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199, will bring its final chapter, 「第七章 虹色の輪廻」 (Chapter 7: Nijiiro no Rinne), to theaters starting October 30, 2026. The main visual and the full trailer for this concluding installment have now been unveiled, along with the launch of a second batch of Mubi ticket cards from September 18.
Yamato yo Towa ni REBEL3199 (Main Visual)
This completely new production reinterprets and reconstructs the 1980 theatrical film Yamato yo Towa ni and the same year’s TV series Uchuu Senkan Yamato III. As the newest chapter of the Uchuu Senkan Yamato 2199 saga, it consists of 26 episodes, which have been screened nationwide since July 2024, starting with the first chapter, 「第一章 黒の侵略」 (Chapter 1: Kuro no Shinryaku).
In Chapter 7: Nijiiro no Rinne, Sasha loses sight of the reality she has trusted and even the proof of her own existence. Alfon, after questioning his very being, arrives at a terrifying conclusion. As the Grand Reverse—a heavy-core nuclear bomb that would reset all of humanity—brings destruction ever closer, the partisan fleet gathers as if guided by fate, and the last trump card, the space battleship Arizona, takes off.
What is the still-unsnuffed purpose of Mother Dezarium, and what is the true form of the Dezarium that stands revealed?
