ABEMA’s anime channel held its annual celebration, “ABEMA Anime Festival 2026 supported by Comic Cmoa,” on September 19–20, 2026, at ABEMA’s Shibuya MIYASHITA PARK and surrounding areas. Day two, September 20, featured six free stages packed with popular anime titles and their cast members.
Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari
The first stage of the day was devoted to Super no Ura de Yani Suu Futari, featuring Satou Takuya (Sasaki), Hoshiki Narumi (Yamada / Tayama), Toyoguchi Megumi (Ono), Yasuda Rikuya (Obata), Hikasa Youko (Maezawa), and Takahashi Shinya (Suzuki). With the final episode set to air on September 24, the cast looked back on the series, sharing favorite scenes selected by Toyoguchi, Yasuda, and Hikasa, along with memories from recording. Satou and Hoshiki also teased what to expect in the finale.
Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken 4th Season
Next came the Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken 4th Season stage with Okazaki Miho (Rimuru), Toyoguchi Megumi (Wisdom King), Maeno Tomoaki (Veldora), and Numakura Manami (Hinata). With the second cour’s final episode approaching, the four chose standout moments: Okazaki picked episode 90 where Rimuru fulfills a promise with Shizu; Toyoguchi selected episode 89 featuring Shion and Diablo finally acknowledging each other; Maeno chose episode 75 with avatar training involving Veldora and Milim; and Numakura opted for episode 91, which delves into Hinata’s emotional wounds. The cast also discussed the season finale airing on September 25.
SHIBUYA ANIME BASE
The SHIBUYA ANIME BASE stage welcomed regular cast members Iwai Yuuki (Haraichi), Tokui Sora, and Nakamura Shugo. They spotlighted three new anime: Kashita Maryoku wa [Riboubarai] de Kyousei Choushuu, Tensei Goblin dakedo Shitsumon Aru?, and Majutsu wo Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyou de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru. For the first title, Kawashima Reiji, Katou Emiri, and Matsuda Rie appeared. In the second, Mizuki Rin and Seto Momoko revealed their roles as the sixth-generation Masamune and eighth-generation Echigoya, respectively. Hishikawa Kana from the third title announced a January 2027 broadcast, and a first preview clip was shown. Additionally, a special segment for Eiga Meitantei Precure! Fushigi na Niwa to 2-ri no Himitsu included Senju Hikari, Touyama Nao, and Katou Emiri. The stage also featured a voice actor impersonation challenge with tongue twisters, which had the performers competing across titles.
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
The Kusuriya no Hitorigoto stage brought together Yuuki Aoi (Maomao), Ootsuka Takeo (Jinshi), and Tachibana Tatsumaru (Bashou) ahead of the third season premiere on October 2. They discussed the series from its beginning through the upcoming season and the film Gekijouban Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Bouhi no Hihou, due on December 11. The trio talked about favorite characters outside their own, the challenges of working on this series, and behind-the-scenes recording anecdotes. After watching the new PV, they highlighted new characters and key points to watch for in Season 3. They also shared how they recorded the TV series and film in parallel, and which characters to pay extra attention to in the movie.
Yomi no Tsugai
The Yomi no Tsugai stage featured Ono Kensho (Yuru) and Miyamoto Yume (Asa). With the first season having just finished the day before and a second season already announced, the duo revisited key scenes. In a segment called “First Season Cast Selections,” they chose their most intense, hardest-to-record, and funniest moments. Miyamoto picked episode 17, where Gabu-chan rages at Akio, praising Kono Misaki’s powerful performance. They also took part in a special quiz segment titled “Yuru’s Social Study in Shibuya,” testing their knowledge of gyaru culture to the delight of the audience.
Futotsuna Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga
Closing the free stages was Futotsuna Akujo de wa Gozaimasu ga: Hina Miya Chosou Torikaekoden, with Kawaida Natsumi (Shuei) and Hishikawa Kana (Riri). The two reflected on episodes 1–10 before the final episode 11 of the day. They also presented favorite scenes selected by Iwami Manaka, Furukawa Makoto, and Umehara Yuuichirou, with each actor’s perspective adding depth to the story.
Special stills from the finale were revealed, and the cast discussed what to look forward to as the event concluded.
Character Greetings and Venue Activities
Throughout the two days, character greetings took place at Shibuya Modai, featuring six characters: Mama from Atashinchi, Maomao from Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Shinnosuke from Crayon Shin-chan, Yeti from Seihantai na Kimi to Boku, Takopi from Takopi’s Original Sin, and Sobi from Seiyuu to Yoru Asobi. Fans enjoyed photo opportunities and interactions. Nearby, giant capsule toys with items from Crayon Shin-chan and PUI PUI MOLCAR were available, along with food stalls. Around MIYASHITA PARK, character panels from Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, Detective Conan, and Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken were set up for photo opportunities, letting attendees explore the anime world across Shibuya.
