The Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu franchise is heading to Tokyo’s Asakusa district with a special pop-up street event. Titled “Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu POP UP STREET in Okuyama Omairi-machi・Asakusa Nishi-sando Shopping Street,” the event will run from October 2 to October 25, 2026 at the Okuyama Omairi-machi and Asakusa Nishi-sando shopping street area.
About Re:Zero
The original light novel series by Nagatsuki Tappei first launched on the web novel platform Shōsetsuka ni Narō in April 2012, and has been published in print by MF Bunko J since January 2014. The story follows Natsuki Subaru, a boy suddenly transported to a fantasy world who gains the ability to rewind time upon death. The series has surpassed 16 million copies in cumulative worldwide circulation, including digital editions. In August, the anime’s fourth season—titled “Dakkan-hen”—began airing, directed by Shinohara Masahiro and produced by WHITE FOX.
Event Highlights
Throughout the event period, the shopping street will be decorated with character panels and nobori banners featuring newly drawn illustrations. Visiting shops that take part in the event and spending 1,000 yen or more (tax included) in a single transaction will earn customers a random “meishi-size card” (one of five types) while supplies last. A stamp rally kit will also be sold; those who collect all stamps and show them at the special pop-up shop can receive an A4 clear file.
Original Merchandise
The pop-up shop will offer a range of original goods using collaboration artwork, ahead of general release. Among the items are trading glitter can badges, trading Ani-Frame art, trading bromide prints, trading acrylic stands, trading acrylic cards, large acrylic stands, extra-large acrylic stands, big acrylic key holders, multi desk mats, and life-size tapestries—all featuring the newly drawn “bangasa Japanese umbrella and traditional dress” illustration theme.
In addition, a separate set of chibi character merchandise with a retro Western-style theme will be available, including glitter can badges, acrylic key holders, acrylic stands, and die-cut stickers. As a purchase bonus, customers will receive one random postcard (of ten types) for every 2,000 yen spent in a single transaction. Some box purchases also come with additional bonus items.
