Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! Launches January 2027 With Zutto Mayonaka de Ii no ni. Tie-Up

Sanrio’s in-house game brand Sanrio Games has revealed that its first smartphone dance and rhythm game, Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, will launch globally in January 2027. Pre-registration opened on September 21, 2026.

A Sanrio rhythm game with customizable ‘cho kawaii’ stages

In Sanrio Kawaii Me Live!, players can enjoy rhythm gameplay with Sanrio characters and songs connected to them. The game also lets players coordinate character costumes and stages, creating their own ‘cho kawaii’ stage.

Artist tie-ups and original songs

Universal Music artists have contributed original songs written for the game. The lineup includes Soala, SHE’S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, and Mi’Line Hearts. Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! has also confirmed a song tie-up with Zutto Mayonaka de Ii no ni.

Release commemorative live at Yokohama Kannai Hall

On January 14, 2027, a Sanrio Kawaii Me Live! Release Commemorative Live will be held at Yokohama Kannai Hall. The event will present songs recorded for the game with live-specific staging. Soala, SHE’S, Lienel, Polkadot Stingray, Yabai T-Shirts Yasan, and Mi’Line Hearts will perform, and the artist KUROMI will also take the stage.

Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, My Melody, and other Sanrio characters will also appear. Details about additional performers and tickets will be announced later on the live special site.

Concept PV and pre-registration campaign

A concept PV is available on the official Sanrio Games YouTube channel. It shows the characters dancing cutely to the rhythm, offering a look at the game’s world.

A pre-registration campaign is also underway, with in-game items and other rewards planned. Rewards will be based on the combined total of pre-registrations and official SNS followers. If the total reaches 1 million, players will receive a Hello Kitty costume with a special Sanrio Games design.
