The Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo exhibition DIVE INTO THE BO-BOBO WORLD opened in Tokyo on September 30, 2026, bringing the series’ absurd gag-battle world to Ikebukuro. The venue is Sunshine City Exhibition Hall D, and the event is built around a hands-on Hajikelist Training Program with replica original drawings, photo spots, and interactive exhibits.
Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is a legendary absurd gag-battle manga by Sawai Yoshio. It ran in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2001 to 2007, and its 28 collected volumes have surpassed 7 million copies in circulation. A TV anime aired on the TV Asahi network for two years starting in 2003. The first stage play was staged in 2024, and a second stage is scheduled for 2026.
The exhibition treats the whole venue as a Hajikelist Training Program. At the entrance, visitors are presented with a two-choice question: become a Hajikelist or not. After passing through the Hana Gate, they can take on Gyorai Girl’s beginner Hajikelist certification quiz.
ZONE1: Fierce Battle! Battlefield
ZONE1 displays a range of characters from Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. Highlights include a photo spot where visitors can experience tsukkomi in front of Beauty, a Purukogi booth with audio newly recorded for the exhibition, and Ougi-sho no Ato, where visitors can write in their own original secret techniques.
ZONE2: Spiritual Liberation
ZONE2 introduces Kame Rap and Tabo-chan on an exhibition-original new beat. The space features floating nu characters, Bo-bobo and Shuryou Patch under mirror ball light, and footage of famous anime scenes (?).
ZONE3: Legendary Records
ZONE3 includes a photo spot where visitors can actually raise the legendary Don Patch Sword for a picture, plus a display of the legendary Tanaka Sword. Fifteen replica original drawings by Sawai Yoshio are lined up, including a color replica original drawing of the 2003 Daininki Taishou Dai Kekka Happyoun.
FINAL: Bo-bobo World
The final area, FINAL Bo-bobo World, features large-scale anamorphic art of Bo-bobo and the others. It uses an optical illusion that makes a single illustration or object appear when viewed from a specific position. Visitors who complete the program can receive a graduation certificate from Bo-bobo and enjoy the voices of Bo-bobo and his companions.
Goods and Photo Booth
The goods area offers exhibition-original items such as Hanage Shinken Tama, Vivid ni Hajikero! Clear Bag, and Nu no Pukkuri Seal. At the venue-limited original photo booth 写Goo!®, visitors can take photos with Bo-bobo and the others.
Tokyo and Osaka Dates
The Tokyo venue runs from September 30 to October 17. The Osaka venue will be held from January 8 to January 24, 2027, at the ATC・ITM Building 4F special venue. Tickets for the Osaka venue are scheduled to go on sale from October 17 at 17:00.
