Mahoutsukai no Yoru Movie Staff Announced
The anime movie adaptation of Type-Moon’s Mahoutsukai no Yoru visual novel has revealed its production staff, theme song, and final trailer during a special livestream on Wednesday. ufotable is producing the film, which is set to open in Japanese theaters on November 20.

Theme Song
Japanese pop band supercell, whose credits include Monogatari Series: Second Season, is performing the theme song "Yoru to Ao." The track is previewed in the final trailer.
Release and Background
Type-Moon developed and published the original visual novel, which first launched for Windows in Japan in April 2012. An enhanced remaster debuted on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in December 2022, followed by a Steam release in December 2023. It later received a worldwide release in December 2023. Written by Nasu Kinoko, Mahoutsukai no Yoru serves as a prequel to Shingetsutan Tsukihime within the shared Nasuverse.
