The official SPY×FAMILY anime X account has shared a video of “Anya’s Drawing Song,” and the attempts by voice actors Eguchi Takuya and Hayami Saori have left fans both laughing and stunned.
The video comes from the “Drawing Song Project” held at ANIME EXTRA MISSION I, and shows Eguchi Takuya (Loid), Hayami Saori (Yor), and Matsuda Kenichirou (Bond) trying the drawing song themselves.
SPY×FAMILY is based on Endo Tatsuya’s manga, serialized on Shonen Jump+. It follows master spy Twilight, who takes on the identity of psychiatrist Loid Forger and forms a makeshift family with Anya, a telepath he adopts, and Yor, an assassin who agrees to a contract marriage. Together they live as a family while he carries out a mission to infiltrate a prestigious school. The TV anime is co-produced by WIT STUDIO and CloverWorks, with Season 1 airing from April 2022 and Season 2 from October 2023. Season 3 began on October 4, 2025. The film SPY×FAMILY CODE: White was released in December 2023 and became a major hit.
Hayami Saori’s Anya Drawing Steals the Show
Hayami quickly became the focus. In the clip, she starts with confident, unwavering straight lines, but when it comes time to draw Anya’s outline and bangs, she lets out a wry laugh and says, “A little…” while looking unsure.
Hayami’s Anya drawing drew comments such as “Why is there a mouth under the outline lol,” “Why did they make Hayami the master artist do this lol,” “As expected of a master artist,” “Why is the pen tip wandering so much during a drawing song lol,” “Hayami is too cute,” “She stopped thinking midway, adorable,” “Her face became a square lol,” “Hayami-san?!?!,” and “She’s in legendary singing auntie mode!?”
Eguchi Takuya Says Hayami Is the Dangerous One
Eguchi, who voices Loid, responded to the post. “The truly dangerous one is Hayami-san… please believe me…” he wrote.
But Eguchi’s own Anya also caused a stir. In his attempt, the lyrics say “There is a mountain,” and though the song instructs drawing Anya’s face like a rice ball, Eguchi ignores it and draws a mountain. At that point, drawing a human face is already impossible.
When the finished Anya appeared, fans reacted: “Both of them have their own kind of danger,” “I shouldn’t have watched this before bed,” “Loid’s only weakness: his voice actor lol,” “It starts with three mountains,” “There’s too little of the premise that this is Anya lol,” “I’m pressing the ‘Wait a minute’ button on the first stroke lol,” “It says one mountain! lol,” “A monster has been born lol,” “It’s scary because there’s no hesitation. What’s terrifying is how smoothly he draws,” “This is a special-grade cursed object lol,” and “I thought it was a merged earthbound spirit and turbo granny.”
