Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon Shrine Collaboration Announced
A special collaboration event between the anime Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon and shrines and temples will be held. Titled “Watashi no Shiawase na Musubi no Inori,” the event centers on the beloved bond (愛おしい縁) cultivated by Miyo and Kiyoka. Limited shrine items including go-shuin, go-shuin-cho, and omamori will be distributed from October 16 at four locations in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
The event is a joint project by Fuuuu, a brand that develops anime and manga collaborations, and Jinja Bukkaku Online, which works to make shrines and temples more familiar. It will run from October 16 to November 30, 2026, at Kamimeguro Hikawa Jinja, Nanasha Jinja, Abe Oji Jinja, and Nashinoki Jinja.
The anime first aired its first season in July 2023, followed by a second season in January 2025. A long-awaited special anime edition is scheduled to begin broadcasting in October 2026.
Limited Items
The limited items include a go-shuin (1,200 yen) that subtly features Miyo and Kiyoka, and a go-shuin-cho (3,300 yen) that reflects the world of the series and expresses the two’s connecting bond. Two types of omamori are available, one for Miyo and one for Kiyoka, each priced at 1,300 yen. When paired, they can be kept as a “married couple charm” (夫婦守り).
Additionally, a special boxed omamori set (3,000 yen for a set of two) featuring illustrations of Miyo and Kiyoka is available. These have been properly prayed over for good matchmaking and come with a special bookmark (shiori) inspired by Miyo’s hair ornament and Kiyoka’s braided cord.
Participating Shrines and Details
The participating shrines are Kamimeguro Hikawa Jinja in Meguro, Tokyo; Nanasha Jinja in Kita, Tokyo; Abe Oji Jinja in Osaka, Osaka; and Nashinoki Jinja in Kamigyo, Kyoto. Payment at each shrine is cash only, and no online sales will be conducted.
Fans can look forward to this event that lets them feel the bond between Miyo and Kiyoka, alongside the special anime edition that begins broadcasting in October 2026.
