About Mahou Kishi Rayearth
Mahou Kishi Rayearth is a representative work by the creative group CLAMP, serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi. The otherworld adventure story has earned immense popularity in Japan and overseas. More than 30 years after the original TV anime aired from 1994 to 1995, a remake began broadcasting on October 7, 2026 (Wed).
During a school field trip to Tokyo Tower, second-year middle school students Shidou Hikaru, Ryuuzaki Umi, and Hououji Fuu are suddenly summoned to the other world of Cephiro. To save Princess Emeraude, who has protected Cephiro’s peace and order through the power of prayer, the three become legendary Magic Knights and throw themselves into a harsh battle.
The remake is directed by Miura Yui, with animation production by E&H production. Sakura Ayane voices Shidou Hikaru, Ookubo Rumi voices Ryuuzaki Umi, and Takahashi Rie voices Hououji Fuu. Hayami Saori voices Emeraude, and Ono Yuuki voices Zagato.
