Tougen Anki Brings Starlit Style to AGF2026
The Animate Girls Festival 2026, or AGF2026, will be held from November 7 to November 8, 2026, at Ikebukuro Sunshine City and other venues. At the YTE booth, new merchandise based on the TV anime Tougen Anki will be available for early sale. The goods use the newly drawn visual series Étoile Style -Hoshikage-, which dresses the characters in elegant, constellation-inspired outfits. The official notation places an acute accent over the E in Étoile.
A Dark Hero Tale Based on Momotarou
Tougen Anki is a new-generation dark hero oni tale based on the manga by Urushihara Yuki, serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shounen Champion. The series has surpassed 6.5 million copies in circulation. It draws on the famous Japanese folktale Momotarou to depict a conflict between those with oni blood and those with Momotarou blood.
The anime is directed by Nonaka Ato, with animation production by Studio Hibari. Ura Kazuki voices protagonist Ichinose Shiki. Kamiya Hiroshi plays Mudano Mujin, an instructor at the Rasetsu Gakuen attended by Shiki and his peers, while Nishiyama Koutarou voices Shiki’s classmate Kougazaki Jin.
The currently airing Nikko Kegon Falls Arc began in October, following the Kyoto Arc and Nerima Arc that aired from July to December 2025.
Étoile Style -Hoshikage- Merchandise
The Étoile Style -Hoshikage- line is inspired by stars shining in the night sky. The drawn visuals show the characters in graceful, fantastical costumes with a constellation motif.
The lineup includes a double-pocket clear file, trading colored paper, acrylic stands, trading hologram can badges, clear card sets, trading acrylic keychains, and stickers.
Deformed Star-Play Goods
A second set of goods features deformed illustrations of the characters playing on sparkling stars. This lineup includes trading swaying acrylic stands, trading can badges, trading acrylic badges, and stickers.
Both lines will be available for nine characters: Ichinose Shiki, Mudano Mujin, Kougazaki Jin, Yaoroshi Ikari, Oiranzaka Kyouya, Yodogawa Masumi, Nekozaki Hakure, Inami Yuu, and Todoroki Hayate. The drawn visuals for characters still shown as silhouettes are scheduled to be revealed at a later date.
Event Details and Animate Pop-Up
AGF2026 runs from November 7 to November 8, 2026, from 9:00 to 17:00, with last new entry at 16:30. The venue is Ikebukuro Sunshine City and other locations, and the Tougen Anki goods will be offered at the YTE booth.
From November 28 to December 20, 2026, the “AGF2026 YTE Shucchousho in animate” will also be held at Animate stores nationwide. This offers another chance to obtain the new drawn-visual merchandise around the same period as AGF2026.
Limited Postcard Bonus
At both the AGF2026 venue and the AGF2026 YTE Shucchousho in animate, customers can receive one random bonus postcard for each eligible work with every 2,000 yen (tax included) purchase of that work’s target products.
The eligible series are:
- TV anime Detective Conan “Blue Butterfly Forest” series
- Anime My Hero Academia “Kachinuke! Game Battle” series
- TV anime Blue Lock “Uttatane” series
- TV anime Tougen Anki “Étoile Style -Hoshikage-” series
Designs cannot be selected. The bonus ends when supplies run out. Postcards are distributed only at the AGF2026 venue and the AGF2026 YTE Shucchousho in animate. Designs may change. Purchases are counted per work, so buying a Detective Conan item, for example, does not count toward a My Hero Academia bonus.
