The Blue Lock cast is trading fierce soccer battles for a quiet moment in a new Utatane illustration series. The newly drawn visuals show characters dozing off on a peaceful train at dusk, and the goods will debut at Animate Girls Festival 2026 (AGF2026) in the YTE booth.
AGF2026 runs from November 7 to November 8, 2026 at Ikebukuro Sunshine City and other venues. The event is described as a large Ikebukuro gathering for anime, comics, voice actors, goods, otome games, cosplay and more, bringing together everything for girls.
Blue Lock’s Nostalgic Utatane Lineup
The Utatane series centers on characters who fall asleep while traveling. The newly drawn visual captures a defenseless, youthful moment with a nostalgic atmosphere. Goods in the lineup include trading hologram can badges, trading cards, clear card sets, stickers, acrylic stands with backgrounds, double-pocket clear files, and glitter acrylic colored paper.
In addition to the Utatane series, there is a lineup of deformed train-motif illustrations drawn in a gentle watercolor touch. These include trading can badges, trading mini acrylic blocks, stickers, magnet sheet 4-piece sets A and B, and clear files. All items are available with eight characters: Isagi Yoichi, Itoshi Rin, Nagi Seishirou, Otoya Eita, Bachira Meguru, Chigiri Hyouma, Mikage Reo, and Hiori You.
About Blue Lock
Blue Lock is a TV anime based on the soccer manga written by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and illustrated by Nomura Yuusuke, serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine. The series has surpassed 60 million copies in cumulative circulation. Its story follows the Blue Lock project, created to train a striker who can lead Japan to a World Cup victory. The TV anime began in 2022, and its third season, Blue Lock: Neo Egoist League, is currently in production. The franchise has also expanded into a smartphone game, stage productions, and a live-action film. The live-action film was released from August under director Taki Yuusuke and stars Takahashi Fumiya.
Separately listed manga volumes include Blue Lock volume 38, a Weekly Shounen Magazine Comics release, and volume 41, a Kodansha Comics release, each priced at 594 yen. Prices and availability are as of the article’s publication.
