A new Kinnikuman collaboration cap made with sports and lifestyle brand NEW ERA is on the way. Built around the theme of “succession to the throne,” the limited model will go on sale at KIN29.COM, the official Kinnikuman online store, from Friday, October 16, 2026.
About Kinnikuman
Kinnikuman is a fighting manga by Yudetamago, the creative unit formed by writer Shimada Takashi and artist Nakai Yoshinori, which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1979. It follows Kinnikuman, a clumsy and hapless dropout choujin who arrives from the planet Kinniku and, through effort, friendship and victory, grows into the strongest man in the choujin fighting world. The series has since moved to Weekly Playboy and WPB NEWS, where it is still running.
On the anime side, the new series Kinnikuman Kanzentai Choujin Shiso-hen aired Season 1 from July to September 2024 and Season 2 from January to March 2025. A third season has also been greenlit, and it will depict what happens after the battle at the special ring on the Tottori Sand Dunes, where Kinnikuman, Buffaloman and the rest of the Justice and Devil allied forces fought Nemesis and the Perfect Muryoutaisuu Corps.
A Snapback in a Crazy-Pattern Colorway
For this release, Kinnikuman teams up with NEW ERA, and the KINNIKUMANIA COLLECTION, which handles Kinnikuman apparel and goods, is producing a new KIN29.COM limited model named the “KIN Mark Multi-Color.”
The base is the 9FIFTY, NEW ERA’s standard snapback cap. The visor is black, while the six panels are divided across three colors — khaki, light navy and storm grey — creating a crazy-pattern look.
Carrying the “succession to the throne” theme, the front of the cap is embroidered with the familiar KIN mark. On the side, an embroidery depicts Kinnikuman and Meat-kun as silhouettes, taken from a single panel of the Kinnikusei Oui Soudatsu-hen arc in the manga.
The back of the cap also carries the kanji 肉 embroidered into the fabric. Worn backwards, the cap places that character right on the wearer’s forehead.
