Ibaraki Prefecture’s tourism promotion “IBARAKI is Blossoming” is continuing its collaboration with the anime Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, and a second round of tie-in food and merchandise is on the way. The second collaboration stamp rally, IBARAKI is Blossoming Zoku Kusuriya no Junyuuroku, kicks off on October 17, 2026, and collaboration menus and the second wave of original goods will go on sale the same day.

About Kusuriya no Hitorigoto
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto is a mystery-solving entertainment series based on the light novel by Hyuuga Natsu, published by Imagica Infos under its Hero Bunko label, with more than 57 million copies in circulation worldwide across the series. Set in the rear palace of the imperial court, it follows Maomao, a girl who works as a poison tester, as she unravels a string of difficult cases. Alongside Maomao’s refreshing brand of heroism, the series has drawn widespread sympathy for its full-fledged mysteries and the human drama spun out of its exotic worldview, earning fans of all ages in Japan and overseas.
The TV anime ran from October 2023 to March 2024 for its first season and from January to July 2025 for its second, with the third season currently airing since October. On December 11, the franchise’s first theatrical film, Gekijouban Kusuriya no Hitorigoto: Bouhi no Hihou, opens with a completely new story conceived by original author Hyuuga Natsu, depicting a fresh mystery surrounding a hidden treasure in a city on the water.
Collaboration menus at Ibaraki Flower Park and THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rin’on
To coincide with the second collaboration stamp rally, which begins on October 17, Ibaraki Flower Park and THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rin’on will serve collaboration menus inspired by the world and characters of the series, made with ingredients including produce from Ibaraki Prefecture.
Among the offerings are Maomao’s deep green matcha latte with a blooming rose florentin bouquet set, available iced or hot, and Jinshi’s holo-horo cookie, sold in packs of three.
Orders of the eligible menu items come with one of four original collaboration coasters featuring Maomao, Jinshi, Bashou or Rahan.
Second wave of original goods
The second batch of original merchandise also goes on sale the same day. Three items are on the lineup: a diorama acrylic stand using newly drawn illustrations themed on the nemophila flowers of Kokuei Hitachi Seaside Park, trading acrylic keychains featuring newly drawn mini characters themed on Ibaraki Prefecture’s best-known sightseeing spots and specialty products, and a vivid big towel depicting newly drawn mini characters of Maomao and Jinshi.
The items will be available at Ibaraki Flower Park, THE BOTANICAL RESORT Rin’on, Suifu Bussan Center and Ami Kankou Bussankan ami colle!, which sits inside the Ami Premium Outlets Food Gallery.
A new key visual and the stamp rally
The official IBARAKI is Blossoming website has also begun displaying a newly drawn key visual for the anime collaboration. The artwork is set among the autumn roses of Ibaraki Flower Park, which typically reach their peak from mid-October each year, and symbolically depicts “Yuitte Campagne,” an original rose variety cultivated at the park. With Mt. Tsukuba in the background, the visual blends the expanse of autumn roses with the worldview of the series.

The stamp rally IBARAKI is Blossoming Zoku Kusuriya no Junyuuroku, along with the collaboration menus and second wave of original goods, all start on October 17. Visitors can travel through Ibaraki as it shifts from autumn into winter and enjoy the charms of destinations across the prefecture alongside the world of Kusuriya no Hitorigoto.
