New Sousou no Frieren Merchandise Includes Crying Frieren T-Shirt and More
The TV anime Sousou no Frieren has announced a new wave of merchandise, including a ‘Crying Frieren’ T-shirt, acrylic tsumamare, and other items. The products are scheduled for release in late January 2027, with some items set for early sales at Machi Asobi vol.31 on October 17 and 18, 2026.
About the Series
Sousou no Frieren is a manga by Yamada Kanehito (story) and Abe Tsukasa (art), serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday. The story takes place after the demon king is defeated by the hero and his party, following Frieren, an elf mage who has lived for over a thousand years, and the people she meets on her new journey. The TV anime aired its first season from September 2023 to March 2024, its second season from January 2026 to March 2026, and the third season, ‘Golden Land Arc’ (黄金郷編), is scheduled to broadcast from October 2027.
Crying Frieren T-Shirt and Acrylic Tsumamare
The ‘Crying Frieren T-Shirt’ (3,300 yen) features the in-story line 「癇癪を起こした私は怖いよ」 in its design.
The ‘Frieren Acrylic Tsumamare Crying Ver.’ (880 yen) has a unique design that makes it look like you are pinching a crying Frieren. The keychain part can be removed, allowing it to be used as a zipper mascot or similar. The illustration was handled by Chito.
Other acrylic tsumamare include the ‘Southern Hero Acrylic Tsumamare’ and the ‘Revolte Acrylic Tsumamare’ (880 yen each). All are made of acrylic and measure approximately 60mm. They are scheduled for release in late January 2027.
Apparel Lineup
The apparel lineup includes the ‘Frieren Face Sleeve Rib Long Sleeve T-Shirt’ (4,290 yen), the ‘Genau Black Gold Wings Magic T-Shirt’ (3,300 yen), the ‘Stark Face T-Shirt’ (3,300 yen), and the ‘Hard Bread and Frieren T-Shirt’ (3,300 yen).
Bags and Keychains
For bags, the lineup features the ‘Frieren Being Eaten by Mimic Ripstop Knapsack’ (2,530 yen), the ‘Frieren I Ended Up Working in a Mine for 300 Years Shoulder Tote’ (2,200 yen), and the ‘Frieren I Ended Up Working in a Mine for 300 Years Large Tote’ (1,980 yen). The knapsack uses lightweight, easy-to-carry ripstop fabric, while the shoulder tote comes with a snap button and an interior pocket. The large tote offers a large capacity and can be used for commuting, school, or outings.
Additional items include the ‘Frieren Being Eaten by Mimic Reel Keychain’ (1,650 yen) and a series of acrylic stands featuring character lines: the ‘Frieren Chu Line Acrylic Stand,’ the ‘Fern Chissa Line Acrylic Stand,’ the ‘Stark Zero da yo!! Line Acrylic Stand,’ and the ‘Zain Mou Tsukiatchae yo!!! Line Acrylic Stand’ (1,650 yen each).
Early Sales at Machi Asobi vol.31
Some of the announced products will be pre-sold at the Cospa booth during Machi Asobi vol.31, held on October 17 and 18 at the Higashi Shinmachi Shopping Street. The pre-sale quantities are limited, and depending on the product, size S may not be available. Some items may also be pre-sold at other events and select stores.
